Attorney Derek Hansen has worked on hundreds of DWI/DUI cases. He exclusively defends clients accused of driving while impaired, criminal vehicular operation and criminal vehicular homicide. He has obtained dismissals in a variety of criminal and implied consent DWI cases. He has also participated in DWI trials.

Mr. Hansen participated in a high profile DWI case at the Minnesota Supreme Court and in several Court of Appeals cases. He is a member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association and is frequently involved in continuing legal education seminars for DWI defense, both as an instructor as well as a student.
