ARRESTED
DOES NOT MEAN GUILTY

State V. Brant

County: Ramsey (6/2011)
Charges: First Degree Aggravated Robbery
Outcome: All Charges DISMISSED prior to trial. In this case, the State accused Mr. Brant and two other men of First Degree Aggravated Robbery for allegedly robbing several individuals at gunpoint, pistol-whipping them, and stealing their computers and phones. All three defendants were represented by different lawyers. The first defendant pled guilty and went to prison. The second defendant went to trial, lost, and was also sentenced to prison. Ryan Pacyga represented the third defendant, Mr. Brant. He prepared for trial and disputed the State’s evidence. This led the prosecutor to DISMISS all charges against Ryan Pacyga’s client.
